Tourism of Bardhaman District

Tourism in Bardhaman District includes the age old temples and the monuments. It is one of the busiest districts in Indian State, West Bengal.There was the Muslim dynastical rulers in the medieval times and the British Empire in India. Pirbaharam Shikiha Khwaja Anwar Berh, Shah Alam's Darga are the religious and  the rule of Hindu kings, the Maharaja Golapbag, Nawab Hat, Ramana Bagan, and the Palace of Burdwan Kings are built.

The famous shrine of Sarvamangala,said to contain the remnant of Sati's body (The wife of Lord Shiva), the umbilicus, is situated in Bardhaman District. In this district, there are several other Hindu Temples and Shivalingams.
