Vythiri, Hill Station of Kerala

Vythiri is popular among nature admirers for the wildlife sanctuary that provides shelter to a wide range of animals and birds. One can enjoy the sight of the dense undergrowth, thick foliage, mosses and lichens that cover the trunks of trees. Large numbers of pine, conifer and fir trees are also found here. The hill station is home to wild animals like Nilgiri langur, thrush and Malabar squirrel. Many colorful insects and birds can also be spotted here.
