Gulabo Sapera is a popular Indian
folk dancer from the culturally rich
state of Rajasthan in India . She is
credited for creating one of the most celebrated folk dance
styles of Rajasthan, Kalbeliya, also known
as Sapera Dance. She has been most recently conferred with the Padma Shri, India ’s fourth
highest civilian
honour by the Government
of India in 2016, for
her contribution to the art of folk dance. To
