Pandit Tulsidas Vasant Borkar is a renowned Indian classical
musician and one of
the greatest exponents of the Harmonium, known for
playing the instrument solo and his style of accompanying in Hindustani Raga Sangeet and allied
forms. He is acclaimed as an outstanding performer, composer and Guru. He has been
most recently conferred the Padma
Shri, India ’s
fourth highest civilian
honour by the Government
of India in 2016, for
