Bahurupi, a word which literally means
"multi-formed", has been derived from Sanskrit Language bahu (many)
and rupa (form), and is very popular in the Indian state of West
Bengal. They are a group of folk actors who portray different
characters, from gods to demons, humans to lepers, animals to children,
engineers to doctors, birds to reptiles, holy men to professional men,
